Witt Grooms serves as an Investment Analyst, joining OneAscent in April 2026. He supports OneAscent Investments and Capital through reporting, product analysis and comparisons, and strengthening coordination between the investments team. In all his work, he is passionate about the intersection of capital allocation, strategic investment, and Kingdom advancement.

Witt was born and raised in Houston, TX and earned a B.S. degree in Finance & Economics, with a Biblical Studies minor from Samford University. Previously, he interned in economic development, real estate, banking, and hospitality. Witt’s time at Samford was marked by service in several capacities and helping kickstart the Bulldog Impact Investment Fund.

Witt lives in Homewood, AL. He is a member of Redeemer Community Church and enjoys golf, traveling with his best friends, live music, supporting the Samford Bulldogs, a new read, and old country music.
