Monica Stoudemire, JD, CSCP®, joined OneAscent Wealth in August 2026 as Chief Compliance Officer. She is a seasoned compliance leader with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including banking, insurance, broker-dealer operations, advisory, and wealth management. Throughout her career, Monica has held leadership roles across the wealth management space and has partnered with firms to build practical, sustainable compliance programs that support business growth while helping mitigate regulatory and operational risk. Most recently, she served as a Senior Compliance Consultant, working with clients on compliance framework design and implementation. She also brings experience in M&A legal operations and post-acquisition compliance, including guiding complex transition and integration efforts for a national RIA.

Monica holds a Juris Doctor from Miles Law School, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Samford University, and the Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP®) designation from the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP), offered through the University of St. Thomas School of Law. A graduate of Class 18 of the Momentum Women Executive Leadership Program, Monica now serves on its Governance Committee as a board member. She also serves on the Fund Development Committee as a board member of Girls Inc. of Central Alabama. Monica is passionate about helping organizations navigate regulatory complexity, foster cross-functional partnerships, and build sustainable compliance frameworks that support responsible growth.

Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, and two sweet pups, along with traveling, volunteering, and reading.
